A Lansford man has been cited by Tamaqua police in connection with a Feb. 10 incident in the area of Boyer's Market, 210 Cedar St.
Officers were dispatched to the area at 11:37 a.m. and were told that someone had attempted to run over two pedestrians.The victims were identified as Mandi Gossman and William Manness, both of Tamaqua. Gossman told officers that Oswaldo "Ozzy" Davila, 48, of 17 S. Walnut St., Lansford, had tried to run them over and also threw a wrench at her.Davila returned to the scene in a blue 1992 Geo while the officers were still there. Davila admitted to confronting the pair regarding food stamps. He was cited for reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
