Nathan and Kristen Halenar of Summit Hill have both been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Penn State University's University Park, Main Campus.

Nathan, a senior majoring in secondary education, citizenship, achieved a 3.52 GPA. He is a 2007 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and will be student teaching for the spring semester at Pottsville High School.Kristen, a freshman majoring in nursing, acquired a 3.63 GPA. She is a 2010 graduate of Marian Catholic.They are the children of Bob and Beth Halenar of Summit Hill, and the grandchildren of Betty Marcinko of Lansford; and the late Paul Marcinko, John, and Jeannette Halenar.
