The Ladies Auxiliary to the New Columbus Fire Company gave the men a check for $10,000 and paid to have the entire fire hall painted. The money is a result of selling hoagies during the year. This is the third year that the ladies reached a goal of $10,000 to donate. The men thanked the ladies for making the hoagies as a fund raiser for the fire company. Seated are Elizabeth Mele, auxiliary vice president; Gerry McConnon, president; Mary Lukca, secretary. Standing are David Chapman, president of the fire company; Audrey Damiano, auxiliary treasurer; Jim Nardozzi, fire chief and treasurer; Donald Schlier, secretary.
