The Panther Valley Council of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce on Friday presented a $500 donation to the Panther Valley Public Library. The library, at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is open from 3:30 to 7:30 p. m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 7:30 p. m. Tuesdays; 3:30 to 7:30 p. m. Wednesdays, and from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. Thursdays.
