Jewelry and cash was reported taken in a Carbon County burglary. State police at Lehighton reported on the incident along with a theft and mischief cases.
The residence of Bruce Todd Koch, 1244 Cherryhill Rd., Parryville, was entered through a window. The break-in occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28Troopers are also investigating a theft of a vehicle. A 2005 Dodge Caravan was removed from a parking lot at the Getz Personal Care Home, 1620 SR534, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County. The van was taken sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26. Troopers said the vehicle was later recovered b Stroud Area Regional police.Troopers reported on two criminal mischief incidents.Matthew Behler, 80, of Mill St. Bowmanstown, reported someone smashed a window on his home with a rock. The incident was reported at 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 24.Troopers said unknown criminals entered a storage sheld on the property of Harvey Sterner, 68, of 300 Covered Bridge Rd., in Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, and damaged a door and wire located in the shed. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 28.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
