Nesquehoning police reported the arrest of a brother and sister in a domestic incident and a Summit Hill resident for theft.
The domestic incident occurred on on Nov. 7. Officer Timothy Wuttke was dispatched to 10 E. Catawissa St. for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival Wuttke was told by Michael Ruckhardt that his sister, Elizabeth Ruckhardt, had hit him. She told the officer her brother threw her to the ground.Both were issued citations for harassment.The theft incident occurred at Redners Warehouse Market on Nov. 9. Chief Sean Smith was called to the store for a shoplifter. As a result of an investigation Smith cited Crista M. Anzalone, of 208 E. Hazard St., Summit Hill, for retail theft. She is charged with taking merchandise from the store without paying for it and when confronted outside she attempted to throw the property away. The property was recovered, Smith noted.
