November 15, 1975 Ricky "Fozzy" Kuhn rushes for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help Jim Thorpe gain a 23-0 win over Mahanoy Area. Kuhn, who reaches the end zone on runs of one and eight yards, also boots a 26-yard field goal. The Olympians, coached by Barry Hackenberg, receive 77 yards rushing and a four-yard TD from Mike Skrimcovsky. Thorpe's defense limits Mahanoy to just 62 yards and intercepts five passes, two coming from Lynn Mann.
