Pocono arrests
Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on several arrests made by officers recently.
On Saturday, Oct. 23, officers made a traffic stop along SR940 at Joe's Kwik Mart for a vehicle code violation. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and found was a marijuana cigar roach, inside a purse belonging to Latisha Eaves, 20, of Albrightsville.During the course of the stop officers conducted a warrant check and learned one of the occupants, Indigo Glover, 19, of West Orange, N.J., was wanted by Stroud Area Regional police for failure to appear for a charge of retail theft.Glover was taken into custody and transported to the county prison pending arraignment.On Oct. 20 about 12:50 p.m. officers observed a Chrysler sedan traveling north on Long Pond Rd., in Pocono Summit, with an expired inspection sticker. A traffic stop was made and the driver identified as Michael Tollefson, 24, of Long Pond. It was learned there was an active warrant for his arrest out of Pike County by the sheriff's department for failure to appear for a drunk driving charge. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison pending being turned over to Pike authorities.On Oct. 22 officers were called to 6658 Country Place Drive, for a domestic incident. Upon arrival officers found a man locked inside a bedroom. It was discovered the caller, Kim Anderson, 40, of Tobyhanna, had assaulted her boyfriend and threatened him with a knife.She was placed under arrest for simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and possessing an instrument of crime. She was arraigned and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.On Oct. 17 about 1:30 a.m. officers observed several suspicious persons pushing a vehicle to gas pumps at Joe's Kwik Mart lot in Pocono Summit, Tobyhanna Township. One of those females present was eventually identified as Tammy Bourgeois, 41, of Gouldsboro. While speaking with her Bourgeois she initially gave names of Tammy Garnder, Tammy Veazie and then Tammy Curtis. She was taken into custody and fingerprinted. She was later identfieid through the fingerprints as Bourgeois.She will be charged with false identifiication to law enforcement, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
