The 14th annual Carbon County Toy Run to benefit Toys for Tots will be staged Sunday, Oct. 17, with departure time at 10:30 a.m.

The motorcycle run is staged by the Thunder Mountain Motorcycle Club. Toys for Tots is a project of the U.S. Marine Corps League, Detachment 626.It will be held rain or shine.The event begins in the parking lot of Country Junction along Route 209 in Forest Inn and concludes at Blue Mountain Ski Area in Palmerton.At the ski resort, DJ Uncle Monty will provide entertainment.All participants must bring a toy valued at $10 or more - but no stuffed animals.Motorcycles and cars can participate.For more information, or to pre-register, contact Bud or Louise at 610-377-9470.
