State police at Fern Ride are investigating a theft incident.

Douglas Steven Zimmer, 48, of 5 Cherry Lane, Sun Valley, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, reported someone stole about 40 pounds of lead and half a bucket of galvanized metal from his property. The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 1 and Tuesday, Oct. 13.
