Several persons escaped injury Wednesday afternoon when involved in a crash at the intersection of SR248 and Union Hill in Franklin Township. The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. involving a car and a mini-van in the westbound lane of travel. The car came to rest in the right lane while the van came to rest on its side. It appeared no serious injuries were involved. The road was reduced to one lane westbound. The Franklin Township Fire Company responded to the scene. Township police are investigating the incident.
