Two persons were injured in a one-vehicle mishap Oct. 6 at 11 p.m. at the intersection of the SR248 ramp and Bank Street in Bowmanstown.

State police at Lehighton said Justin R. Dematto, 18, of Allentown, the driver, suffered a minor injury; while his passenger, Matthew J. Clements, 19, of Schnecksville, sustained moderate injuries.Police said their 2006 Infiniti G35 was westbound on the exit ramp when it failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled across Bank Street and struck a guard railPolice said Dematto was cited for a motor vehicle code violation.
