The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) is organizing its annual Coal Cracker Classic Mountain Bike Race, to be held Oct. 10 in conjunction with the annual Tamaqua Heritage Day Festival. The race will take place at the Howard D. Buehler Memorial (Bungalow) Park.

Registrations will begin at 8 a.m. with the race scheduled to start at 10 a.m.The race will feature beginner, sport and expert categories; men's, women's and single speed races; for five age groups.
