The Carbon County Democrats for Change will hold their first meeting of the fall on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, 24 Broadway in Jim Thorpe. Michael Luis Principe, J.D., Ph.D, will speak on the topic of the 14th Amendment, which defines citizenship in America. Dr. Principe is director of the Pre-Law Program at William Patterson University. The club will also review their "Legislative Strategic Plan" for the year.
