CERT classes are being offered at the Carbon County Emergency Management Agency Office on the following dates: Sept. 14, 20, and 27; and Nov. 1, 8, and 15.

CERT classes provide residents with basic first aid, fire suppression and search and rescue skills which will enable you to assist your community during a disaster emergency. Also included in the training are sessions on disaster preparedness, organization and management of the CERT, animals in disaster, counter terrorism and disaster psychology.To sign up for this training, call the Carbon County Emergency Management Agency at (570) 325-3097.
