They immediately began writing the songs that now define the Saving Abel sound. The band finally came together when Jason and Jared added Scott Barlett, Eric Taylor and Blake Dixon to the lineup. Now they could perfect their combination of southern and alternative rock. The guys began playing together and they immediately fit. They recorded a demo CD and tried their hardest to get their name and their music out there for the music moguls to hear.Jared got to the point where he was going to bigger bands concerts just so he could toss the Saving Abel demo CD on stage and hope that someone listened to it.The never-ending push paid off though and their demo for "Addicted" found its way into the hands of a Virgin A&R Consultant, Scott Frazier, and his manager partner Rick Smith. They immediately sent it to the label's Chairman/CEO and he sent an A&R vet, Kim Stephens, out to experience Saving Abel. She was so impressed at their live performance; Saving Abel was signed the next day.We Are The FallenFor the Evanescence fans and American Idol fans out there, We Are The Fallen is the band for you.We Are The Fallen is comprised of the original members of Evanescence, Ben Moody, John LeCompt and Rocky Gray, studio bassist Marty O'Brien and lead singer and American Idol finalist Carly Smithson.Ben Moody who departed Evanescence in 2003 feels that he is finally home with We Are The Fallen.Carly adds that, "As an artist, I have never been happier."We Are The Fallen officially debuted on June 22, 2009 and have been going strong. Their first release was "Bury Me Alive" and it was made available for free if you registered on the We Are The Fallen website. They soon signed with Universal Republic to release a full length debut album, Tear The World Down. The debut album also featured "Bury Me Alive" but they included an orchestral outro which made the song a full minute longer. We Are The Fallen just finished a 28 city tour with the Finnish rock band HIM before embarking on this tour.American BangAmerican Bang is a Nashville based rock group which many find hard to believe. Most people are under the impression that only country music comes out of Nashville.Well, tell that to artists from Bob Dylan to Neil Young and now American Bang all of which have made some of their best records in Nashville, the Music City. The four members of American Bang have been through many incarnations of bands, but this is their most successful.Jaren Johnston, Ben Brown, Kelby Ray and Neil Mason make up the band. Jaren is the son of a respected Grand Ole Opry drummer so Jaren literally grew up backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. He started out as a drummer, but soon realized he needed to write songs so he picked up a guitar and began honing his songwriting skills.American Bang was invited out on the road to open up for acts such as ZZ Top and The Pretenders. From there they kept on going and they hit the festival circuit hard. They have played at Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, SXSW, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Voodoo Festival, just to name a few.Taddy PorterThis Stillwater, Oklahoma quartet has an affinity for rocking outright and that's just what they do every time they hit the stage.Taddy Porter began with Doug and Andy playing music together.Next thing you know, Doug's little brother Kevin wants to join them. The two were reluctant to include Kevin due to his young age, but he proved he could hold his own, so the duo became a trio. While all of this was going on, Andy decided he needed to improve his slide skills to get a more Southern sound to their music. He began taking guitar lessons with Joe Selby and eventually invited Joe over to hear their band. Joe was so in tune with the trio the he quickly became a member of the band as well.Taddy Porter officially played their first show on October 19, 2007 in their hometown of Stillwater, OK.
