In an effort to reduce the number of crashes, fatalities and injuries on Pennsylvania roads, state police from Troop N, Lehighton, will be conducting roving DUI patrols and sobriety checkpoints this weekend as part of The Pennsylvania State Police Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative, Lehighton Station Commander Brian J. Cawley announced.
The sobriety checkpoint and roving patrols will be conducted from Aug. 13-16 in Carbon and Monroe counties.
