State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the reported theft of a ring.

Troopers said Melissa Bucano, of 2 Harvest Hill Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported that someone removed a ring from the bathroom area of her home. The incident occurred sometime between 9 a.m. on July 5 and 7 p.m. on July 12.
