State police at Lehighton are investigating a drive-by shooting incident that occurred in Monroe County.

Troopers said a 22-year-old male from Olyphant, Lackawanna County, reported he suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was walking along Polk Township Road in Polk Township, about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, when the shot was fired from a passing vehicle.
