A sea of people turned out at the Tamaqua's Five Points intersection on a hot, muggy Tuesday at noon to welcome WNEP-TV weatherman Joe Snedeker, whose annual bicycle journey throughout northeastern Pennsylvania benefits St. Joseph's Center. Weather reports called for thunderstorms but the rain held off until after the event.
