Frank Klock, an employee of the Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill, checks on the condition of a crippled goslet at the center. Klock said the goose was found at the Lehigh Canal in Weissport with nylon fishing line wrapped around its leg. He appealed to fishermen to use common sense and toss unused or discarded fishing line into a garbage can. "I've seen other animals, including snakes, caught in fishing line," he said.
