Anyone who has ever seen Noone performs knows the ageless singer puts on a high-energy show.Always present for his performances are his "Noonatics."The concert begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $32 and $27.Over the next eight days, five events are scheduled at the Peak.Tonight, Aaron Lewis Staind brings his solo acoustic tour.Herman's Hermits are here tomorrow night.Making a return on Saturday night is Raymond the Amish Comic in an adults-only performance.Cinderella, the metals band from the 80s and 90s, will be at the Peak on Tuesday night. Lynam is the opening act.Next Thursday, July 15, The B-52's make their first-ever Penn's Peak appearance. "Love Shack" is the signature song of this amazing group. Opening for the B-52's will be Supercluster.Noone is a singer and an actor who has been entertaining audiences all his life. In school he studied voice and acting and started his career as Stanley Fairclough in the soap opera Coronation Street.It was not until he was 15 that he became famous as "Herman," the lead singer of Herman's Hermits.All in all, Herman's Hermits sold over 60 million recordings of which 14 singles and 7 albums went gold.Over the years, Peter was everywhere; magazine covers, top rated TV shows, Broadway, feature films, a TV show host and even on the soap opera As The World Turns. Growing up in Manchester, England, Peter found himself a National and International star on all levels. All this publicity contributed to Herman's Hermits twice being named Cashbox's "Entertainer of The Year."He has created two websites that have become so popular the New York Times calls him the "King of The Sixties on The Internet."Peter Noone himself has a legion of fanatic followers dubbed the "Noonatics."Raymond the Amish Comic was born and raised Amish, but has found success with Amish humor.Of his performances, he says, "I am naughty. I don't deliver any prayer meetings."Cinderella, a Philadelphia-based band, can thank Bon Jovi for their big break.Bon Jovi saw Cinderella perform at a club in Philly and they recommended Cinderella to their A&R rep and the rest is history.Frontman Tom Keifer has had his share of health problems, but hopefully they are behind him. In the 90s, he lost his voice and underwent several surgeries to repair his vocal cords.The band ended up going on a brief hiatus, but were out touring again in 1998.In 2008 they toured with Poison and both bands celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut albums.
