Mr. and Mrs. George A. Millet of Tamaqua will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 1. They were married in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua, by the Rev. Gilbert.

Mrs. Millet is the former Lois Erbe.The couple has three children: George and his wife, Elaine, of Tamaqua; Richard and his girlfriend, Ann Marie, of Pottsville; and the late Deborah Long, who passed away on Feb. 9, 2007. They also have two grandchildren: Samuel Long of Tamaqua and Robert Jacob Long and his wife, Jennie, of Gainesville, Fla.; and a great-granddaughter, Harper Jane Long of Gainesville.
