May 27, 1964 Larry Breiner hits a grand slam to help complete a huge Summit Hill comeback and lift his team to an 8-6 Black Diamond League win over Jim Thorpe. The Hillers rally for seven runs, four coming on the slam, in the sixth frame to rally for the victory. Johnny Watto and Harry Smyrl each collect three hits for the winners while Breiner finishes with two hits and two runs. Ken Boyd picks up the pitching win in relief.
