Two community leaders were honored Thursday for their support of economic development in the Greater Tamaqua Area and their contributions to the board of directors of Tamaqua Industrial Development Enterprises. Dr. Joe Urenovitch, center, congratulates Curtis J. Bailey, left, and James Zigmant for "their dedication, hard work and years of service." Bailey and Zigmant retired from the TIDE board recently after many years of volunteer service and were the recipient of engraved plaques in honor of their work for the betterment of the community.
