Got an old Macintosh computer? How about an outdated VCR player? Perhaps a clunker for a washer?
If the answer to any of those questions is in the affirmative, then this weekend's computer and electronic equipment drop-off could be just the anecdote. That's because the first-ever computer and electronics recycling day will be held in Slatington. Items can be dropped off from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at 563 West Church Street, Slatington.Items accepted include telephones/cell phones, DVD/VCR players, stereos and speakers, cables/cords/keyboards, laptop computers, printers/fax machines, small appliances, LCD monitors, desktop computers, computer monitors, dehumidifiers, floor copiers, washers/dryers, stoves, air conditioners, televisions, floor freezers, and refrigerators. For more information, email wendyg.
