Route 93 in Nesquehoning and Banks Township became a nightmare for motorists Tuesday afternoon when heavy rains changed unexpectedly to heavy snow. Police throughout the area had to deal with multiple accidents when motorists were caught unaware and of those who just chose not to slow down.
