A Carbon County woman has been charged with statutory sexual assault for having sexual relations with a teen, under the age of 16.

State police at Lehighton charged that Amy Stegierwalt, 23, of Lehighton, had a consensual sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male from New York City. The acts occurred between March 10 and 13 at the Gypsey Hill Garden Apartments in Lehighton, troopers said.
