A Chambersburg man has been cited for passing a bad check at a Tamaqua business.

Clifton Lorenzo Moorer paid for goods at Ed's Sports Shop, W. Broad St., with a check on Nov. 14. The check, totaling $353.74, was returned due to insufficient funds. Efforts to give Moorer a second chance to pay his bill failed and the citation was issued.
