What makes this performance unique is that it is an acoustic show whereby he will not be backed by a band. The performance has been receiving great reviews.Some of the hits by Tritt include "Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)," "Country Club," "Help Me Hold On," and "Tell Me I Was Dreaming."Born just outside of Atlanta, Travis Tritt grew up on a musical combination of Grand Ole Opry, Southern Rock and Delta Blues.He added his own Southern Gospel on top and that is pretty much where he came from, musically speaking.His musical interest started early, age 3, but his recognition in the music industry did not occur until he was 27 years old. He released his first album and two years later, at age 29, he was accepted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.Over the years he has charted more than 30 singles on the US Billboard Charts, five of which were number ones. He has two platinum albums and two gold albums.Since he began playing music, he has also acquired a few awards along the way. In 1992 and again in 1998, Travis Tritt received the coveted Grammy Awards. In 1992, the Grammy was for his duet with Marty Stuart and in 1998 the Grammy was for a collaboration of more than 10 country music artists.Along with his musical talents, Travis has also acted in a few movies; "The Cowboy Way," "Sgt.
