The Seltzer Group, a leading provider of insurance services and solutions to area businesses, raised $6,000 this year through their annual Golf Tournament for the Schuylkill County Special Olympics. The event was held this year on September 3 at Mountain Valley Golf Course in Mahanoy City, PA, and was attended by 160 golfers. A check for the proceeds was presented to the Schuylkill County Special Olympics in October 2009. Funds are slated to help pay for uniforms, equipment and fees for the Schuylkill County team, supporting their plans to participate in various local, regional, and state competitions, including a locally-hosted track meet. The Seltzer Group has conducted a charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Schuylkill County Special Olympics each year since 1999.
