Body in Schuylkill is identified

The body of a woman found along a Schuylkill County road on Saturday morning has been identified.

County coroner Joseph E. Lipsett, said the body found off the Burma Road in Blythe Township, was that of Teresa Chupak, 51, of Cressona, who had been missing since Oct. 29.An autopsy conducted on Sunday concluded that there was no foul play involved in her death.Lipsett said her body was found about 10:08 a.m. by a person walking in the woods. She was found in her 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Lipsett said.State police at Frackville conducted the investigation and the autopsy was performed by forensic pathologist Dr. Richard Bindie at the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville.The Burma Road runs between St. Clair north to SR54 near Mahanoy City .
