These projects have provided safety, educational support, comfort, and convenience for thousands of school students, tourists, and the general public when visiting the center, located at Mauch Chunk Lake Park.
Projects that are available include, but are not limited to:Construction of a "Nature Explore" outdoor classroom, repair/replacement of bird blind roof on the shore of Mauch Chunk Lake Park; maintenance of recycled Christmas tree trail. For more information, potential senior scout candidates may contact Franklin Kock, the center's volunteer project coordinator at (570) 645-8597 or by emailing
