Over 3,000 people gathered in front of Bright's Big Store on the Diamond in Lansford to witness the closing of the beauty contest and model display. The winner in the event was Frances Kleckner of Summit Hill. The Lansford Band played music during the event, after having paraded on Ridge Street. The announcement of the pageant winner was made by Richard D. Edwards, manager of the store.
