Class of 2010

Parents of the Tamaqua Class of 2010 will meet on Monday to construct decorations for the All Night Party. Interested individuals will meet at 7 p.m., at the Tamaqua Elks, 201 W. Broad St., on the third floor.Concerned citizensThe West Penn Township Concerned Citizens group will meet Monday, at 7 p.m., in the township municipal building. Police Chief Brian Johnson will be in attendance to discuss the creation of a Neighborhood Crime Watch network.All interested residents are welcome to attend.St. John UCCThe Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy will officiate at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday in St. John United Church of Christ. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship. Sunday school classes for all ages will begin at 11 a.m. The weekly service will be broadcast on radio station WLSH, 1410 AM, at 11:30 a.m.Activities for next week will include:Tuesday, Dream Team meeting at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, choir rehearsal at 7:30 p.m.St. John's is sponsoring a Christmas Extravaganza on Nov. 28.
