State Police at Lehighton continue to investigate a two-car crash that occurred along Route 248 around 7:10 a.m. this morning. This white 1998 Chevy Cavalier operated by Mark Thomas of Lehighton, was involved in the crash with a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Larry DeGennero of Jim Thorpe. Thomas was transported by ambulance to Palmerton Hospital. DeGennero was uninjured. The Palmerton, Bowmanstown, and Parryville fire departments assisted at the scene.
