State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a registration plate.

Troopers said Cory S. Leckleithner, 20, of Lakeside Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported the plate was stolen from his vehicle sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, and 6:30 a.m. on Monday.Troopers also investigated a criminal mischief incident. Benjamin P. Stein, 28, of Meixell Valley Rd., in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported unknown persons smashed the rear window on his vehicle sometiem between 12:30 and 7 a.m. on Monday.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
