A Monroe County man, previously charged with various drug law violations, was arrested for allegedly having sex with a young girl he was dealing drugs to.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Julio Santiago, 28, of Tobyhanna, has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, aggravated indecent sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and related charges. He was recommitted to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of $10,000 bail.Police said Santiago was arrested at his home at 1167 Woodcliff Drive, Coolbaugh Township, previously on drug trafficking charges. A preliminary hearing was held and all counts were certified for trial in the county court.Police said they received information that Santiago was having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl while he was selling drugs out of his Pocono Country Place home. Police also learned that he would provide drugs and money in return for sexual intercourse and other sexual acts from the young girl.Following his arrest on the drug counts, Santiago was confronted about the new allegations and admitted to a relationship with the juvenile, police said. He also admitted video taping the sexual acts with the girl, police added.
