In yesterday's TIMES NEWS, an article about a property owner being fined $2,000 for his unkempt property contained an error.

The article stated that Oliver Westermeier of New York City purchased the property from the Lansford tax collector.According to testimony at the hearing, "Oliver had purchased this lot ... on June 9, 2008 for $521 per Danny the tax collector," meaning that the zoning officer obtained information on the sale from the tax collector.The previous owner was actually Peter Shah, who also had received warnings and citations from the zoning officer before selling the parcel to Westermeier.The TIMES NEWS apologizes for the error.
