Rikki Jo McRae, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School has been named as the Slatington Woman's Club Girl of the Month for October.

Rikki Jo is a member of the Northern Lehigh High School Student Council as a Senior Class Representative. She has been involved in the Northern Lehigh Little Theater Association, the Spanish club, the German club, and the envirothon team for several years.Rikki Jo has been selected as a representative for the Professional Development Conference and the National Honor Society at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute. Rikki Jo attends Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for commercial baking. She enjoys reading in her spare time and teaching the Bible to people who are hearing impaired.Her future plans include attending a local college part time for culinary arts and going on to become a pastry chef. She hopes to become a full-time minister, teaching the Bible to those who are deaf and hearing impaired, and to help translate the Bible in American Sign Language.Rikki Jo McRae is the daughter of Walter and Debi McRae, the sister of Randi Lee McRae and the grandaughter of Billie Jean and Gene Leach and Bob and Sally McRae.
