A Tamaqua man has been cited after allegedly assaulting his son on Thursday.

John J. Sienkiewicz, 38, of 215 Bowe St., Tamaqua, allegedly pushed his son, Brandon, to the ground, then punched him in the face after the two argued about a video game system. The incident was reported to Tamaqua Police at 10:15 p.m. The son received minor injuries as a result of the incident.Sienkiewicz was cited for harassment.
