Friends of the Dimmick Library will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Dimmick Library annex house at 58 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

The group is currently planning for its fall/winter free community events which will include a program of Irish music on Saturday, Nov. 21, and upcoming "Meet the Author" programs.Library supporters and book lovers are invited to join the Friends at its meeting or to talk with members about other ways they can get involved to support the library.For further information call the library at (570) 325-2131.
