Carbon County's manufacturers are invited to a presentation, "Energy Costs" at Platz's Restaurant, Harrity Road, Franklin Township from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Dawn Ferrante, director of Economic Development for Carbon County, will present information that all manufacturers need to be aware of in their business energy costs, such as the rate caps are ending, grants available for energy efficiency and possible ways to reduce any impacts to their business. The session is intended to provide information on programs and services to help businesses.During the program, Ferrante will also seek to receive information from manufacturer's on what else the Department of Economic Development can do to help them.
