Two crashes lead to charges

Two separate crashes led to drivers being cited by state police at Lehighton.

A two vehicle crash occurred about 7:49 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, along SR115 in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Sean T. McGuire, 39, of Saylorsburg, driving a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer, made a left turn in front of a 2003 Chrysler Sebring driven by Pauline M. Handlovic, 61, also of Saylorsburg. No one was injured.Troopers said McGuire was cited for vehicle turning left.The second crash occurred on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1:40 p.m. along Club Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.Troopers said Mark S. Spiker, 19, of Palmerton, driving a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, pulled out of his driveway and his vehicle was struck by a 1994 Plymouth Sundance, driven by Ryan S. Cebrosky, 17, of Palmerton.Spiker and his passengers, Robert A. Spirko, 16, and Gilbert M. Mook, 17, both of Palmerton, and Cebrosky and his passenger, Keith Lawrence, 23, of Palmerton, were all not injured.Tropers said Spiker was cited for vehicle entering or crossing a roadway and Cebrosky was cited for drivers required to be licensed.
