October 10, 1986 Tom Butterworth throws for two touchdowns in the first quarter and Tamaqua goes on to post a 21-6 Homecoming win over Blue Mountain. Butterworth gets the Raiders on the board first when he hits Lee Leibensberger with an 11-yard TD pass. Later in the frame, Butterworth finids Bryan DeLay with another 11-yard scoring strike. Ron Hill, who collects 95 rushing yards in the contest, adds a TD run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Butterworth adds an interception on defense, as does Tom Rottet.
