Open house on fire prevention

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS The Tamaqua Citizens Fire Company held its annual open house Monday evening in support of the Tamaqua Fire Department's Fire Prevention Week coinciding with the National Fire Prevention Week. Volunteer firefighters gave tours of their building and equipment. Other Tamaqua Fire Companies will also have open houses this week daily from 6:30-8 p.m., American Hose Fire Co.; Wednesday, East End Fire Co.; Thursday, South Ward Fire Co.
