Rush Township police have released information on a two-vehicle accident near the entrance to Lake Hauto Wednesday afternoon, which was pictured in Thursday's TIMES NEWS.

John and Shirley Reigel were facing east, waiting to turn into Lake Hauto when Robert Falatovich, who was traveling east on SR54 in a Tri-axle owned by Wargo Trucking, looked up and could not stop, so he turned into the oncoming lane. At that time John Reigel, who was driving the Reigels' Ford 500, also turned. The Tri-axle struck the Reigel vehicle and sent it into a telephone pole that was sheared, police said.Both vehicles traveled down an embankment where the Tri-axle overturned. The Reigels' were still inside their vehicle, with both suffering unknown injuries. John Reigel had to be removed from the vehicle by the Tamaqua Rescue Squad. Falatovich was not injured
