A Monroe County man is wanted for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

State police at Fern Ridge are seeking the whereabouts of Matthew Joseph Pepe, 26, of Box 7179, Saylorsburg R.7. Troopers allege that Pepe threatened to cut the throat of the mother of his child. There is also a bench warrant out of the county sheriff's department for him for failing to pay about $12,000 in child support, troopers said.Pepe is described as being a white male, six-feet, one-inch tall with blond hair and hazle eyes.Anyone with information on Pepe's whereabouts is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
