A Monroe County man was jailed following a domestic incident which involved a handgun.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Sept. 3 about 9:44 p.m. officers were dispatched to Kuhenbeaker Road, in Blakeslee, to a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers were confronted with an intoxicated male who was carrying a handgun.The man was identified as Wesley H. Smith, 48, of Blakeslee. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in the county prison pending arraignement, police said.
