A Monroe County man is facing a charge of retail theft.

State police at Fern Ridge said Eric M. Waldron, 36, of Kunkletown, was arrested following an incident about 7:22 p.m. on Sept. 26 at the Weis Market, located at SR209 and Weir Lake Rd., in Brodheadsville. Troopers allege Waldron attempted to remove $81.21 worth of items from the store without paying for them.
